HP Signs On to EcoPrint Summit as a Headline Partner

Graphic arts technology leader, HP, is now a headline partner for EcoPrint Summit which takes place 6-7 June in Geneva, Switzerland. Organisers believe HP’s commitment, along with support from a range of leaders in graphic arts signals that sustainability is now top of the agenda for the print industry.

Carlos Lahoz, HP’s Industrial Print Sustainability Manager

Carlos Lahoz, HP’s Industrial Print Sustainability Manager said, “As the world’s largest printing equipment manufacturer, it is very important to HP to be a leader in sustainability. Sustainability is no longer optional for the print industry, and the EcoPrint summit offers an opportunity to come together to understand how to improve our collective sustainable performance and drive regenerative activity that results in a smaller footprint and a net positive impact. We look forward to discussing with the EcoPrint community how to implement the kind of sustainable change demanded by consumers and business partners in today’s market.”

The EcoPrint Summit will comprise plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, learning workshops and Eco-Innovations Awards. This is designed to provide a range of inspiration, participative discussions and learning opportunities for anyone concerned and wanting to make sustainable differences within their businesses.

Marcus Timson, Co-Founder of EcoPrint enthuses, “We are excited to have HP involved as their support helps us create an event that will deliver something unique and something special. Their vision for the future is inspiring and their technology is already at the forefront of delivering end-to-end solutions with a lower environmental impact. Clearly, the print sector is now taking sustainability very seriously, but we have a long way to go!

The EcoPrint Summit is an event and community 100% focused on sustainability in print whether your focus is commercial, labels, packaging or wide format print. With EcoPrint, we will create positive change and bring people together to learn and collaborate.”

Organisers invite the print industry to join them in Geneva and to sign up for updates, news and analysis via ecoprint.events
